Jamie Redford honored in Salt Lake City
On Saturday, February 4th, 2006, The National Kidney Foundation of Utah and Idaho and members of Utah’s Donate Life Coalition hosted a beautiful black tie gala to recognize outstanding efforts to promote the cause of organ donation and transplantation. Jamie Redford and JRI received the Gift of Life Award. Nancy Heigl and her daughter, Katherine Heigl, were honored with a special Volunteer for Life Award. Peter Graves, (from TV’s MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE series) was the evening's host and Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. of the 5th Dimension performed.

Paula Garces ("Clockstoppers") and Ruben Blades ("Imagining
Argentina") star in the feature "Spin" for freshman
director Jamie Redford, son of Robert Redford.
The film, which Redford adapted from a novel by Don Axinn concerns
the adolescence of an orphaned boy (Merriman) raised by a Hispanic family
in the 1950s.
